DAYENS ECSTASY IV SLIM STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER LAUNCHED

Serbian HiFi manufacturer Dayens has unveiled the latest addition to its Ecstasy series, the Dayens Ecstasy IV Slim stereo power amplifier.

 Designed to complement the Ecstasy IV preamplifier, this new model maintains the brand’s signature sonic characteristics while offering a compact form factor suited to various system configurations.

DAYENS ECSTASY IV SLIM STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER CLASS AB DESIGN

Like all Dayens amplifiers, the Ecstasy IV Slim is a class AB design featuring a toroidal transformer and custom-made power supply electrolytics. The unit is equipped with an aluminium heat sink for each channel to enhance thermal stability and performance. Input capacitors come from Mundorf’s Supreme EVO series, a respected choice among audiophiles.

HIGH POWER OUTPUT AND VERSATILE PERFORMANCE

The Dayens Ecstasy IV Slim delivers 110W per channel into 8 Ohms (160W into 4 Ohms), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of loudspeakers. It uses two pairs of genuine Japanese output transistors, contributing to its ability to drive demanding speaker loads while maintaining sonic accuracy.

DESIGNED FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATION

While sharing the Ecstasy IV name, the Slim is not a scaled-down version of the Ecstasy IVse flagship. Instead, it is a standalone design optimised for performance and versatility. It shares the same footprint as the Ecstasy IV preamplifier, allowing easy stacking in traditional HiFi racks or placement side by side in wider AV setups.
