TEAC Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love than with their new, tie-dye TEAC TN-420 turntable.

Summer may be over but TEAC are still celebrating with this rather bright and colourful 2-speed turntable. The TN-420 combines a high density MDF base with a machined aluminium platter. The eye-catching appearance of the TN-420 is achieved through a modern hydro-graphics printing process.

For easy connection to virtually any audio system, the TN-420 features switchable Phono / Line level outputs on RCA connectors as well as a digital output (via USB) for connection to a Mac or PC for playback and/or archiving of your favourite LPs. The high inertia aluminium die-cast platter is driven by a high-torque DC motor with a durable Neoprene rubber belt to achieve stable rotation. In addition, highly accurate rotation of the platter is maintained by a polished spindle (machined from a stainless steel block) contained within a durable bronze spindle holder. The TN-420 supports both both Phono and Line output.

An onboard analogue-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments allows you to transfer music via USB to your PC and to create high quality back-ups of your favourite albums. In addition, a pair of gold-plated RCA connectors are employed plus gold-plated terminals on the headshell connectors help resist oxidation over time. The TN-420 features both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM playback and a manual tone-arm lifter. The TN-420 comes with an MM audio-technica AT95E cartridge.
