As regular followers of our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter will be aware, Hifi Pig are proud sponsors of the Radical SR1 driven by Paul Clark of Hifi Lounge in Dunton, Bedfordshire and we recently took the opportunity to go watch him race in the MSVR Radical Challenge at Castle Donington.
For those interested in such things the Radical SR1 that Paul drives will do 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds, has 182bhp and a top speed of 138mph…so no slouch. Other Hifi sponsors of the Hifi Lounge Radical include Atlas Cables, Chord Electronics, PMC, Rega, Trilogy and Naim and so we feel quite proud to be amongst such illustrious and well known British brands of the Hifi world. Some of these companies had run competitions for customers to be treated to a few laps around the track and judging by their faces when they came out of the car after their laps the winners certainly seemed somewhat “exhilarated”.
We will continue to follow and keep Hifi Pig readers updated on the progress of Paul and the car throughout the next season and there will no doubt be the opportunity for a reader to experience the Hifi Lounge SR1 first hand when we run a competition in the coming year. For the time being here are some of the photographs we took on the day.
