At IFA 2019 Audio-Technica is introducing its ATH-CKS5TW and its ATH-CK3TW wireless in-ear headphones.

The ATH-CKS5TW and ATH-CK3TW are at IFA 2019 at the Berlin ExpoCenter City, Stand 215, Hall 1.2 (September 6 – 11, 2019).

The ATH-CKS5TW and ATH-CK3TW both feature a new Auto Power On/Off feature that automatically turns the headphones on and connects to a paired smartphone, portable digital audio player or other compatible devices when they’re removed from their case. Both models will also turn off automatically when placed back in their case. Both headphones are charged via an included USB-C connection and the cases feature LED battery status indicators.

Both headphones use Qualcomm™ cVc™ Clear Voice Capture that improves clarity during phone conversations. Both incorporate Bluetooth 5.0. The ATH-CKS5TW and ATH-CK3TW feature drip-proof IPX2 water resistance rating.

The ATH-CKS5TW features a new eartip design incorporating a 10mm driver with a dual-layer diaphragm. The exclusive new eartip style offers an improved, stable and comfortable fit and provides superior noise isolation from ambient sounds says Audio Technica. The headphones are compatible with aptX®, SBC and AAC codecs.

The ATH-CKS5TW delivers 15 hours of continuous playback when fully charged, and the included charging case provides an additional 30 hours – a total of 45 hours of on-the-go playing time.

Buttons located on each earbud allow easy control of music, phone calls and volume without having to operate these functions from a smartphone. The ATH-CKS5TW is compatible with the Audio-Technica Connect mobile app, which allows users to check battery life, adjust settings, control playback and locate the earbuds if they’re misplaced. Available in black, blue and khaki, the ATH-CKS5TW comes with XS, S, M and L silicone eartips, a USB-C charging cable and interchangeable 3D ear loop supports that can be used to provide an even more secure fit.

The ATH-CK3TW has 5.8 mm drivers, smooth silicone eartips and is compatible with aptX and SBC codecs.

Touch sensors for controlling audio, calls and volume are located on each earbud. The headphones are compatible with Siri and Google Assistant for convenient and quick hands-free voice command activation.

The ATH-CK3TW offers up to six hours of battery life per charge, and the charging case provides an additional 24 hours. The headphones feature Qualcomm® TrueWireless™ Stereo Plus. The ATH-CK3TW comes with XS, S, M and L sized eartips and will be available in black, white and blue.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS5TW will be available in September 2019 and the ATH-CK3TW will be available in November 2019.
