Martin Logan makes its Bristol Show debut in February 2020, courtesy of its new UK distributor, PMC Distribution UK, giving the country’s audiophiles their first opportunity to see all the company’s ranges in one place.

Since PMC Distribution UK took over the representation of the Martin Logan brand in July 2019, it has significantly bolstered the current offering of the company’s legendary electrostatic panel speakers with the new Motion Series, custom installation products and the extensive subwoofer range.

Martin Logan USA

Martin Logan is one of the most well known US loudspeaker brands, having been founded in 1980 in Kansas, and now being exported to over 50 countries around the world, best known for its electrostatic panel designs.

The flagship Masterpiece® series electrostatic loudspeakers will be shown alongside the Motion Series and other products in the Bristol Suite, stand no. 7b on the Ground Floor of the show. Many of the products on display have never been seen in the UK before.

Key staff from Martin Logan will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions about the brand and its products.  PMC will be conducting timed demonstrations of selected products throughout the show in the SS Great Britain 1&2 suites.

PMC Distribution

Announcing the company’s plans for the Bristol Show, Ian Sutton, PMC Distribution UK’s director says, “For far too many years Martin Logan has been known in the UK only for its high-end and premium priced electrostatic loudspeakers. While these phenomenal products are rightly revered around the world, they are exclusive – justifiably so. What is little known in the UK is that Martin Logan has an extensive range of speakers that have inherited the DNA of the flagship products, but at a much more affordable price making the Martin Logan magic available to everyone.” He continues, “For this reason we are making a special effort to bring the entire range to the Bristol Show, so the UK’s hi-fi fans can see what they’ve been missing and how accessible Martin Logan is.”

Motion Series

Of particular interest to many of the show-goers will be the slimline Motion Series which we heard at RMAF 2019. The 15i and 35TXi bookshelf speakers, 30i and 50TXi centre channel designs and 20i, 40i and 60TXi floor standers, are finished in Matte White, Red Walnut or Gloss Black and range in price from £795 per pair to £2995 per pair. Each speaker provides a fast-transient response and distortion free output from its Folded Motion tweeters, a technology that provides the accuracy and delicacy of an electrostatic panel from a compact driver. Aluminium cone drive units generate the midrange, plus they feature custom, hand-built crossovers.

The Bristol Hifi Show 2020

See the Martin Logan range in Bristol Suite, stand no. 7b and hear them in SS Great Britain Suites 1&2 from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February 2020.
