ACTIVO Q1 IN-EAR MONITORS: A NEW COLLABORATION WITH DITA AUDIO

ACTIVO, a sub-brand of Astell&Kern, has launched its first in-ear monitors (IEMs), the ACTIVO Q1.

Developed in collaboration with DITA Audio, the ACTIVO Q1 combines high-quality South Korean design with DITA’s expertise in audio engineering. Designed for audiophiles who value portability and performance, this new release aims to complement active lifestyles. They follow on from the ACTIVO P1 DAP.

DESIGN AND DRIVERS

The ACTIVO Q1 features a hybrid configuration with a PM1+ 9.8mm dynamic driver housed in brass and a single Knowles balanced armature driver. The PM1+ delivers a full-range sound profile with notable clarity, responsive speed, and deep bass.

CARDAS CABLE

DITA Audio’s MOCCA2 cable, made by Cardas in the USA, is a standout feature of the Q1. Composed of 32 strands of ultra-pure copper conductors, the cable is twisted to DITA’s specifications. It supports both 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended connections, ensuring compatibility with a range of audio sources.

ACCESSORIES AND FIT

The ACTIVO Q1 package includes a branded mini Tanos Systainer case, providing durable storage. To ensure a personalised fit, five sizes of final Type-E eartips with a dedicated case are also included.

The partnership between ACTIVO and DITA Audio brings together over 45 years of industry expertise. The ACTIVO Q1 is designed to pair seamlessly with ACTIVO’s P1 Digital Audio Player, creating a cohesive audio experience.
