At Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2019 Audio-Technica will be showcasing a selection of their products including the flagship AT-ART1000 phono cartridge, its newest audiophile ATH-AP2000Ti headphones and more.
Audio-Technica’s, ultra-high-end AT-ART1000 Direct Power Stereo Moving Coil Cartridge ($4,999) places its dual moving coils directly on top of the stylus tip (rather than at the base of the cantilever as in conventional designs) to deliver remarkable fidelity.
AT-ART1000 Cartridge
The AT-ART1000 will be featured along with the AT-SUT1000 moving coil step-up transformer ($4,699). The AT-ART1000 and AT-SUT1000 will be used in conjunction with a VPI HW-40 Direct Drive Limited Anniversary turntable, Krell electronics, Alta Audio loudspeakers, and other high-end components.
Headphones
The ATH-AP2000Ti headphones ($1,250) features driver diaphragms with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating and a Permendur magnetic circuit. The flagship ATH-ADX5000 over-ear headphones ($1,999) features the company’s exclusive Core Mount Technology (CMT) and other refinements.
These products will be demonstrated at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Room 9113 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, Aurora, CO, September 6th – 8th 2019.
