UK’S LARGEST SECOND HAND AND VINTAGE HIFI EVENT AUDIOJUMBLE HAS BEEN POSTPONED
Audiojumble, UK’s largest second hand and vintage HiFi event, has postponed the Audiojumble February 2022 event.
Established by John Howes in 1992, the Audiojumble has grown from humble beginnings to become the iconic event that it is today.
AUDIOJUMBLE 2022
The usually twice-yearly event has not been held since February 2020.
Due to the uncertainty of holding events during the Covid19 pandemic, and the particular problems that the Omicron variant is causing, the Audiojumble organisers have taken the decision to postpone the first Audiojumble since the pandemic started to the 29th of May 2022.
AUDIOJUMBLE HISTORY
The first Audiojumble was held at a small municipal hall in Southborough, with just 22 stallholders. It was later moved to its current location in Tonbridge which provides capacity for more than 140 stalls spread across two large halls and several side rooms. Originally an annual event, the frequency was later increased to twice-yearly in order to satisfy demand.
A FAMILY AFFAIR
In 2015 John stepped back from the day-to-day running of the show and handed over the reins to his three children, Catherine, Michael and Richard. Having helped out at every Audiojumble event since its inception, they have grown up with the Audiojumble from a young age, so are passionate about ensuring that it continues to thrive in its third decade.
THE FIRST AUDIOJUMBLE THIS YEAR
The next Audiojumble is now due to be held in The Angel Centre, Tonbridge, Kent on Sunday 29th of May 2022.
