Audiolab has unveiled the 9000Q preamplifier and 9000P stereo power amplifier, expanding its highly regarded flagship 9000 Series. This is the brand’s first dedicated pre/power amplifier system in over eight years, building on its legacy of innovative audio design.
AUDIOLAB 9000Q AND 9000P AMPLIFIERS
The 9000Q preamplifier offers extensive connectivity, including USB, Bluetooth, digital (coaxial and optical), and analogue (XLR and RCA) inputs. It features an ESS ES9038PRO DAC supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512, alongside Roon compatibility and MQA decoding. The unit incorporates advanced tone controls, digital upsampling, and a balanced circuit topology for precision audio reproduction.
CLASS AB DESIGN
The 9000P stereo power amplifier delivers 100W per channel into 8 ohms (160W into 4 ohms) with a dual-mono Class AB design. Its Complementary Feedback (CFB) circuitry ensures linear performance and stability, making it suitable for demanding speakers. Audiophiles can further enhance their system by using two 9000P units in bridged mode, offering 300W per channel into 8 ohms.
