Overture MK3 is the third generation entry-level speaker from Lithuanian brand AudioSolutions.

AudioSolutions’ Overture MK3 features a completely new look compared to its predecessor, the visual changes mark a completely reworked speaker, including new cabinet, drivers and crossover structure.

Overture MK2 were equipped with a self-locking cabinet structure, working with the potential of the self-locking cabinet AudioSolutions came up with another cabinet type, which they call the Box-in-a-Box structure. This is the type of cabinet used in their Virtuoso speakers.

Sectional-Box-in-a-Box Cabinet

AudioSolutions Overture MK3 is equipped with Sectional-Box-in-a-Box cabinet system. The whole cabinet consists of two intersecting cabinets, a lightweight inner box and heavy outer box. The polyurethane layer in between the two boxes acts as the dampening material. The thin but stiff inner cabinet provides the necessary support for the structure itself as well as transferring the energy of radiated back-waves to the outer cabinet layers without storing energy inside the material and preventing the back-wave being reflected to the listener.

Drivers

AudioSolutions Overture MK3 has upgraded drivers, based on the drivers in their Figaro speakers. The magnetic system and dampening rings were reworked to suit the Overture MK3 and higher power voice coils were. High frequencies are reproduced by a lightweight silk dome tweeter which is an upgraded version of the MK2 tweeter.

With this reworked driver AudioSolutions were able to use a  more efficient mini-horn system which is deeper and a bit wider.

Overture MK3 comes with M6 thread spikes with protective caps, upgraded binding posts in frosted satin silver and are available in two standard colours, Gloss Black and Gloss White. For an extra charge Oak, Mahogany and Wenge are available.
