AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) will open April 13-15 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center offering attendees three jam-packed days of sounds, technology, presentations, design, and the very latest products in the industry. Now in its ninth year, AXPONA is, say organisers JD Events, the defining, high-end audio show in the United States, which caters to dealers, distributors and manufacturers, as well as music-loving consumers. AXPONA’s new state-of-the-art venue will feature an expanded Exhibit Hall, and new Record Shop and Master Class Theatre. AXPONA will once again offer something for everyone – from the novice music lover to the seasoned audio expert looking to enhance their sound with the latest technology.

The 2018 event will be the largest show to date, meeting the increasing demand from attendees looking for the top brands in the music world under one roof, in a central location. The expanded Exhibit Hall, which is home to the Marketplace and Ear Gear Expo, is a whopping 30,000 square feet and will showcase a vast array of turntables, cables, accessories, racks and stands, tonearms, cartridges and the latest headphones and associated equipment in the growing world of mobile and high-end personal listening. Top manufacturers exhibiting this year will be AudioQuest, Empire Ears, Kimber Kable, Morrow Audio, Pro-Ject, Sennheiser, and SOTA. The new Record Shop, a pavilion within the Exhibit Hall where attendees can shop for new and vintage vinyl, CDs, SACDs and downloads and discover new artists. The new Master Class Theater will feature curated content presented by industry experts.

Attendees are encouraged to experience listening rooms by listening and comparing the systems and components from some of the world’s most prestigious manufacturers. In all, more than 400 manufacturers, retailers and brands will gather at AXPONA, including Acoustique Quality, Bandwidth Audio, ELAC, Emotiva, Exogal, Magico, LLC, Pass Laboratories, PS Audio, Zesto Audio all of whom will showcase the newest high-end products and services to attendees.

AXPONA 2018 will also feature live concerts: Saturday night’s Blues Revue will be presented in partnership with Delmark Records and will be a celebration of the 65^th Anniversary of the label.

Open to the public, AXPONA offers a variety of ticket options for attendees. One day passes are $25 two day passes are $40; and three Day are $50. Gold passes are available for $95; industry passes (offering admittance for three days) are $50; and student passes for one day is $10. All tickets include free self-parking each day.

The Gold Pass Package is a special pass for admission to all three days of AXPONA along with some extra perks! The AXPONA Gold Experience Pass includes: collector’s Badge, official AXPONA T-shirt, access to the AXPONA Gold Lounge with VIP check-in, coat check, refreshments and WiFi, and an exclusive reception for Gold pass holders on Saturday, April 14 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM with special guests. Thanks to the overwhelming interest by students to attend and experience AXPONA, there is an expanded Student Day pass available for any of the three days.
