BLACK RHODIUM XTRA

Black Rhodium has introduced the XTRA by BLACK RHODIUM cable collection, designed to provide an affordable first upgrade for audio enthusiasts looking to enhance their sound system. The XTRA for FIRST UPGRADE range includes loudspeaker cables, RCA and XLR stereo interconnects, and additional cables for turntables, mains power, and portable devices.

The XTRA for FIRST UPGRADE cables feature several key design elements to improve sound quality. These include an acoustic damping braid to reduce vibration-induced distortion, a braided metal screen to block electromagnetic interference, and a large ferrite core to minimise high-frequency noise.

XTRA FOR FIRST UPGRADE PRODUCT RANGE

The XTRA by BLACK RHODIUM collection comprises: Loudspeaker Cable, RCA Stereo Interconnect; XLR Stereo Interconnect; three tonearm cables (DIN, RCA, XLR), Mains power cable for audio units and power conditioners and two portable audio cables.

BLACK RHODIUM OPERETTA LOUDSPEAKER CABLE:

In addition to the XTRA collection, Black Rhodium has unveiled the Operetta Loudspeaker Cable, part of its new Operetta Collection. Drawing on design principles from the award-winning Charleston cable, the Operetta is engineered to deliver high-quality sound at a more accessible price point.

The Operetta Loudspeaker Cable utilises high-current conductors. It is fully screened to reduce distortion caused by high-frequency noise and electromagnetic interference. A vibration-damping braid minimises unwanted resonances, while the cable’s twisted construction further reduces intermodulation effects, says Black Rhodium

GN1 CONNECTORS

Black Rhodium has equipped the Operetta Loudspeaker Cable with Graham Nalty’s GN1 loudspeaker connectors, which feature a ‘Straight Line Contact’ pin.
