Hot on the heels of the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2019 is the CEDIA Expo. With RMAF moving to its new location this year, and being earlier than it’s usual October dates, CEDIA comes in back to back with it in the Colorado capital, with some exhibitors staying over for both shows.
While RMAF is a real Hifi affair, with many of the systems being very High End, the focus of CEDIA is more ‘Home Tech’ and ‘Smart Home Genius’…but there is obviously a lot of crossover with many Hifi brands moving into Home Cinema, Custom Integration, streaming technologies, and voice control.
Here are just a few of the highlights that you can check out at CEDIA 2019, which is on now and running until the 14th September, at the Colorado Convention Centre in central Denver.

Masterpiece CI at CEDIA 2019
MartinLogan is offering attendees the opportunity to experience an immersive 9.4.4-channel demonstration of the new Masterpiece CI Series in an acoustic interior designed by the Italian company, HTE (Home Theater Environment). This demo system consists of two flagship Statement 40XW in-walls, five Monument 7XW in-walls, two Tribute 5XW in-walls, four Sistine 4XC in-ceilings, and four Dynamo 1600X subwoofers.
MDA Series
MartinLogan has also announced the new MDA Series of distribution systems. With the ever-growing popularity of whole-house and outdoor audio systems, the challenge of unlocking the performance potential of sound has only increased. Historically, when selecting distribution solutions, installers have only had access to a mix of one or two key features—web-based setup, digital inputs, equalization, or matrixing capabilities. Enter MartinLogan’s MDA. These devices deliver all of these features in one chassis and with the added benefit of Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) and bass management for adding dedicated subwoofers.
