CLARITY TELL US THEIR THOUGHTS ABOUT NWAS
Clarity, the UK HiFi industry’s Trade Association, highlights what the North West Audio Show means to the UK HiFi industry and community.
WHY THE NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW IS SO IMPORTANT FOR THE HIFI COMMUNITY
The North West Audio show (NWAS) is almost upon us! This weekend coming, at Cranage Hall, the DeVere Estate, Cheshire, NWAS will host around 80 exhibitors and boast an audience of over 3,000. With delays since 2019 due to COVID, clearly this year the community is extremely ready to be reunited with the UK’s top HiFi show.
Clarity wanted to take this opportunity to highlight what the show offers, and why it’s so important to the community, retailers, manufacturers, distributors and customers alike.
IT’S FREE, FRIENDLY AND INVALUABLE
We thought we’d cut to the chase and first of all mention that the show is free to enter, and guests are welcomed with bucks fizz on the house. For those who have previously attended the show, you’ll know the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, open to HiFi newcomers and veterans alike.
The exhibitors stretch across a variety of audio and home entertainment including car audio, stereo and home cinema, headphones and wireless speakers and more. The wealth of knowledge to be gleaned around product and manufacturer information, installation, and demonstration (to mention a few) are endless and invaluable.
Another thing worth mentioning is that knowledge will be in abundance not just from the exhibitors, but also the guests! Many of whom have been in the industry for many years. If you’re looking for guidance, or to learn more about existing HiFi communities, there’s no better place.
The exhibitor list continues to grow and includes names such as Auralic, Cyrus, Heed Audio, KEF, Parasound, PMC, Russ Andrews and more

THE WORD FROM CLARITY’S CHAIRMAN
“We welcome the return of the North West Audio Show after the enforced absence of HiFi shows from the calendar. For audiophiles and music lovers there is nothing like the opportunity a show provides to listen to the latest in HiFi equipment and make subjective choices by comparison of the brands and products on show. Manufacturers, distributors and retailers have had a tough time during the pandemic and so it is very welcome that the shows are starting to return. It’s a chance for relationships to be rekindled and for the incredibly friendly industry to come together once again to demonstrate its collective love of all things music and audio.
The North West Audio Show has always been regarded as one of the friendliest and most enjoyable shows, with its idyllic setting in Cranage and mixture of the manufacturer and retailer-run demo rooms, which provide plenty of variety and interest for the show visitors. There’s something for everyone at the North West Audio Show, whether your interest is in vinyl or digital, home HiFi or car audio. And the inclusion of the educational lectures and seminars and the live music performances make it an all-encompassing event that is well-liked and one of the best in the annual show calendar.”
