Cleer, a headphone manufacturer based in San Diego, has added to its line-up of headphones by launching FLOW II to sit alongside the first FLOW model. FLOW II offers wireless hybrid noise-canceling as well as a Google Assistant voice interface.

Cleer say that their ironless driver technology means that “the sound quality is accurately balanced and dynamic, with minimal distortion”.

Noise Canceling

Like the stablemate FLOW headphones, the FLOW II is a headphone with up to 20 hours of battery life with noise-canceling turned on. A quick charging mode means that five minutes of charging yields a full extra hour of life.

Google Assistant

The main differentiator between the two models in the FLOW range is the addition of Google Assistant support in the new headphones. A dedicated button allows one-press access to the digital assistant via your connected mobile device, offering voice control of your music and access to information and services through vocal commands.

Conversation Mode

Unlike FLOW, the FLOW II has a ‘Conversation Mode’, simply press your hand against the left earcup and the noise-cancelling will temporarily turn off and media volume will be reduced so that you can hear the world around you. When the hand is removed the noise-cancellation feature will automatically turn back on, so that you can easily dip in and out of conversations or listen to announcements without taking the headphones off.

Available in Gunmetal or Light Metallic, the FLOW II has a swivel folding design to easily store them away in the accompanying carry case.

Price

The Cleer FLOW II is priced at £249/$279
