HEAR CLOSER ACOUSTICS AT THE AUDIO VIDEO SHOW WARSAW 2023 AND MEET BOB

Polish HiFi brand Closer Acoustics will be present at the Radisson Sobieski on the 7th floor in two rooms with two different setups, they will include the brand new BOB Bass Open Baffle modules.

Hear the range of Closer Acoustics’ products at the Audio Video Show Warsaw 2023, including their new Bass Open baffle modules, made to work with the OGY speakers, called BOB.

CLOSER ACOUSTICS ROOM 708

Loudspeakers: This room will feature the smallest Forlane floorstander, which was introduced for the brand’s tenth anniversary, and the OGY monitor coupled with OGYs Bass a special passive bass enhancement module and H frame open baffle stand.

Electronics: The 300B Provocateur integrated amplifier in Signature specification and the Flō phono preamplifier.

Analogue source: Thorens TD 124 MKii turntable with a twelve-inch Schick tonearm. For the first time in Poland, the Sculpture A gramophone cartridge from France will be presented. It will be fitted to the Schick graphite headshell in this classic table.

CLOSER ACOUSTICS ROOM 718

Loudspeakers: OGY monitors matched with the special bass enhancement modules –  BOB – Bass Open Baffle in an array. Each BOB unit has an impedance of 8 Ohm, efficiency of 94 dB, ‍power handling 100 W and ‍dimensions of width – 40 cm, height – 35 cm, and depth – 35 cm. BOB can be used to enhance OGY to make a bigger speaker system, tailored to your needs. Retail price for a pair of BOBs is 2,168€.

Electronics: elinsAudio MILLE separate stereo amplifier (two monoblocs and preamplifier) in a system with the CELLO phono preamplifier.

Analogue source: The Tentogra WoWo turntable with Kuzma tonearms and cartridges.

AUDIO VIDEO SHOW WARSAW 2023

The Audio Video Show Warsaw takes place over three venues, the Radisson Blu Sobieski and Golden Tulip Hotels, which are within walking distance of each other, in the city centre, and the PGE Narodowy, national stadium…with a free shuttle coach from the Sobieski.

This year is the Audio Video Show Warsaw’s 25th anniversary and HiFi PiG will of course be there once again to cover the show.

This fantastic show features over 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, the largest Headphone Zone and Vinyl area in Poland, special guests, international and national exhibitors and thousands of visitors, the show is second only in size to High End Munich in Europe.

OPENING HOURS

The exhibition will be open on the following days and hours:

Friday, October 27th 2023, 12:00 – 20:00

Saturday, October 28th 2023, 10:00 – 20:00

Sunday, October 29th 2023, 10:00 – 18:00

TICKETS

Tickets priced at PLN 50 (about £10) will be available at the ticket offices at the entrance.
Three-day passes will also be available for PLN 75 (about £15) (valid from Friday to Sunday).

The ticket and pass are exchanged at the entrance for a wristband which allows entry to the entire exhibition area (all three locations). The ticket price includes an 88-page exhibition guide.
Children up to 16 years of age get free admission.
