Southeast UK-based dealer Coherent Systems has announced the opening of their new Northwest branch, Coherent Systems Northwest.

COHERENT SYSTEMS NORTHWEST

Coherent Systems Northwest will be run by Peter Woolliscroft. Peter’s most recent enterprise was owning 15 Audio as a distributor as well as a reseller of High End HiFi. Since training with the BBC, Peter’s career has many years of experience in the music industry, both recording and mixing in many of the London-based studios such as Trident, Advision, Good Earth, Battery Studios, Olympic, and Air Studios to name but a few.

PETER WOOLLISCROFT

Peter worked on the production of numerous albums/live recordings using first-generation SONY PCM 1610/1630 digital Umatic sound editing/mixing platform for various classical music labels as well as open reel SONY DASH 3324/3348 format. Not to forget his work with the early adopter of Sony F1 and DAT formats.

Peter has worked with many big names in popular and classical music, from Frank Zappa, Def Leppard and Elton John to James Galway, Trevor Horn and Jeff Wayne, and many others in between.

Coherent Systems was originally established in 2002 as Omega Audio by Tim Price and Anthony Sallis, based in Cheltenham supplying O.E. manufacturers with signal transfer devices and digital integration systems. After a management take over in 2005 Coherent Systems was set up as high-end dealership specialising in digital audio.
