Dirac, whose technologies optimise more than 200 million smartphones and who have partnered with Harman in the world of car audio, are exhibiting at CES 2017 and will be presenting the latest Dirac sound innovations for home, mobile, VR/AR, and automotive applications.
They will showcase Dirac Live and Dirac Room Calibration with OPPO wireless speakers, of which they say “We have the definitive solution for enthusiasts who likes good sound quality even though they may not want to spend all the time, money and effort required to get these results. For these customers we have developed a more lightweight and easy to use room correction system that operates from a mobile phone or tablet. This solution is ready to go through our collaboration with analogue Devices, and Oppo Digital is releasing the first product with their Oppo Sonica line of wireless lifestyle speakers”.
Also on show will be Dirac HD, of which they say “Dirac HD is a modern approach to getting the best sound from speakers of almost any form factor. Even the most spectacular speaker is not perfect. Leveraging full time domain correction of a speaker’s characteristics, Dirac HD makes it possible to build speakers in new form factors, to save significantly on manufacturing costs yet deliver superior performance”.
