Elite Audio is hosting a Showroom Event on the 27th Nov 2021.

The aim of the event is to find the ultimate audiophile format, between Reel-to-Reel, cassette, vinyl, CD and streaming.

The Elite team will be playing the same classic albums on all of the formats through the same systems throughout the day (10am–4pm). Refreshments including Wildfire Pizza will be provided and a prize draw will be run. A vote will be held to decide which sounds best. Two systems will be running at different price points.


Elite will be playing, in all formats Miles Davis Kind Of Blue, Dire Straits On Every Street and Love Over Gold and Dave Bruebeck’s Time Out.


The equipment being used includes an Akai GX625 Reel to Reel, Nakamichi Dragon Cassette Player, Pro-Ject Signature 10 Turntable, Electrocompaniet EMC1 MKV CD Player, HiFi Rose RS150 Streamer, Luxman L-595 Amp and Klipsch Heritage Forte IV Loudspeaker.
