Final has launched its all-new flagship headphones, the Final D8000 DC and Final D8000 DC Pro, building on decades of expertise in Japanese HiFi design.

This release reimagines its acclaimed planar magnetic technology, introducing a complete redesign, aiming to achieve even greater precision, transparency, and listening comfort.

AIR FILM DAMPING SYSTEM: THE CORE OF FINAL D8000 DC PERFORMANCE

Central to the D8000 DC and DC Pro headphones is Final’s advanced Air Film Damping System (AFDS), a proprietary technology originally developed to enhance bass response and eliminate distortion. The latest iteration refines every element of the acoustic system, including redesigned metal mesh patterns and an ultra-lightweight diaphragm crafted from etched aluminium foil. These innovations deliver a deep, distortion-free bass, organic soundstage, and high-frequency detail, redefining planar magnetic audio.

JAPANESE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Final’s dedication to precision is evident in the D8000 DC series, which is manufactured at its Kawasaki headquarters. By developing in-house tools such as diaphragm moulding machines and bespoke measuring instruments, Final ensures consistency and quality. Lightweight yet robust, the headphones feature ear pads crafted from breathable Japanese washi paper, offering both sustainability and comfort.
