We are used to seeing renders of HiFi products in news stories and on the websites of High End HiFi brands, sometimes depicting HiFi in fanciful places that in reality, you would never be able to place them, but did you ever wonder who they are created by?

It all began in 1998 when Jefferson joined a pioneering home automation project company in Brazil. At the time, the company was one of the first in the country to work with video projectors and cutting-edge audio systems.

Initially starting as an intern responsible for video projectors, Jefferson’s talent for drawings soon caught the attention of the company owner’s daughter. This recognition led him to delve into the world of AutoCAD, which opened up new avenues for creativity and innovation. Jefferson’s expertise expanded to include projects involving retroprojection systems, and he became instrumental in establishing the Brazilian standard for automation projects. Jefferson continued to serve the architecture market before venturing into the international arena.

HIFI AND AUDIO COMPANIES

Embracing the challenge of launching 3D projects for audio companies globally, Jefferson faced the early stages of this venture with determination. His work with the company “AIA Cinema” taught him valuable lessons in realism and attention to detail, distinguishing his 3D renderings from mere photographs. Within a year, Jefferson’s 3D images were exhibited at High End Munich, where he caught the eye of more well known HiFi brands.

Now five years old Formato3d4u has a portfolio of clients in twenty-five countries, including Sonus Faber, McIntosh, Avantgarde Acoustics, Esprit Cables, Marten, Egglestonworks, Signal Projects, Goldmund, Davis Acoustics, Estelon and many more.

Jefferson’s work blurs the boundaries between 3D renders and reality…and sometimes you might look and think, did they really put those Focals next to a swimming pool?

Throughout his journey, Jefferson says he has formed genuine connections with his clients, considering them not just customers but friends and family within the HIFI world.
