Steve Helliker from Ultimate Stream has been in touch with Hifi Pig to tell us about a series of Free events he is hosting in the coming weeks.

The first event will take place on Wednesday 7th November in Farnham. Surrey and will highlight the latest Auralic range of music streamers and DACS.

The event will be featuring all the products from both the G1 & G2 product ranges including:
G1 ARIES Streamer
G1 VEGA DAC
G2 ARIES Streamer
G2 VEGA DAC
G2 LEO MASTER REFERENCE CLOCK
This year Auralic added the G2 LEO GX Master Reference Clock (pictured above) which feeds the G2 VEGA with a working signal so precise that Auralic had to use new benchmarks to measure its performance. Steve adds that Ultimate Stream have just taken delivery of the new G1 series. The new ARIES digital transport and the VEGA G1 DAC are infused with technologies developed for the G2 range and allow you to stream resolutions up to DSD512 and PCM 32bit/384K at a more affordable price. You’ll also be able to meet with representatives from the brand.

The second event will also take place in Farnham, Surrey on the 8th November where Ultimate Stream will be auditioning the Innuos Mk3 range of Music Servers together with the Kii Three loudspeakers and the Kii BXT System. This will be the first demonstration of these systems here in the UK and once again representatives from the brand will be on hand to answer your questions. Adding to the Innuos Mk2 series and the SE, the new Mk3 range brings further product enhancements and the new Zen Mk3 Mini has been further upgraded to include an analogue output. The Kii THREE has a total of six speakers in the front, side and rear of the cabinet – all working together to throw the sound in one direction without relying on a baffle which Kii call their Active Wave Focusing Solution. The BXT extension module adds an additional 16 drivers and a total of 7000 Watts.

The third in this series of events will take place on the 14th of November and will feature the 8c intelligent streaming loudspeakers from Dutch & Dutch. The 8c’s have both analogue and digital inputs and are now in the final stages of becoming Roon Ready endpoints. Simply plug them into your network and stream direct to them from Roon. An app allows you to match the sound to your room (Ultimate Stream do this for you as part of their installation service) by applying filters to specifically reduce those frequencies which are overpowering in your listening space. They have 500w bass and 250w mid-range and high-frequency Class D amplifiers. If you want even more bass, they have a DSP controlled output for an active subwoofer! Priced from £8,995 they come in black and oak finishes with black, white or brown baffles.
All the events are free and you need only got to Ultimate Streams homepage, click the link to the event you want to attend and register. Other events are also listed that are also free to attend.
