GOLDMUND TELOS 4800 MONO POWER AMPLIFIER LAUNCHED

Swiss HiFi brand Goldmund has announced the launch of the Goldmund Telos 4800 Mono Power Amplifier.

The Goldmund Telos 4800 Mono Power Amplifier captures the essence of the flagship Telos 8800 in a (slightly) more compact form.

GOLDMUND TELOS 4800 MONO POWER AMPLIFIER

The Goldmund Telos 4800 Mono Power Amplifier has a maximum power output of 1050 watts RMS at 8 ohms and an ultra-low total harmonic distortion of less than 0.005% across 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The dynamic range, measures at 117 dB with a 22 kHz bandwidth, and the Goldmund Telos 4800 Mono Power Amplifier has a damping factor of 600 at 1 kHz and output floor noise of less than 3 μV,  The amplifier’s gain is adjustable in 3 dB increments, providing precise control and customization to suit individual preferences and audio setups.

MKP CAPACITORS

The Telos 4800 is equipped with Goldmund’s proprietary MKP silver-metallised polypropylene film cap capacitors and a copper ground plan. This component is designed to ensure a stable supply for the Mosfet output stage.

Engineered with a fully analogue circuit, the Telos 4800 ensures maximum thermal security and short-circuit protection. In the event of an issue, the amplifier promptly shuts down, safeguarding both the speakers and the amplifier itself.

ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL OPTIONS

With versatile connectivity options, the Telos 4800 is equipped with both analogue and digital inputs, including RCA and XLR connectors, seamlessly integrating with any high-end audio system. The rear panel features a universal power socket, multiple output binding posts, and a ground lift switch, reflecting Goldmund’s commitment to combining functionality with ease of use. Additionally, the RS232 command connector and jack connector for trigger enhance the amplifier’s integration capabilities, making it an option for sophisticated home audio installations.

GOLDMUND AESTHETICS

The Telos 4800 embodies Goldmund’s aesthetic signature, available in both grey and black finishes. The upgraded, thicker panel structure compared to the previous collection enhances the amplifier’s operation, reinforcing Goldmund’s Mechanical Grounding principles.
