Gruensch Grand Reference is the German brand’s ‘ultimate reference speaker’ and features a central planar unit consisting of two mid-tone planar magnetic transducers, one mid-high planar magnetic transducer and one ribbon super-tweeter, all in an open baffle setting.

The Grand Reference also feature, two 22cm (8.5”) Bass Drivers and a 38cm (15”) Sub-bass driver which is active.

The cabinet is solid, multi layer, pressure and resonance-optimised with extensive internal bracing. The finish is high-gloss lacquered and hand-polished with matt Nextel-coated elements, Alcantara inlays as well as anodised silver and polished aluminium. Frequency Range is15 Hz – 100.000 Hz (-3dB). Sensitivity is 91 dB. They weigh around 200kg each and stand 155.5cm tall. They are made in Germany and price is available on request.
