HIFI PIG ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH THE HIFI ASYLUM HIFI FORUM
HiFi PiG is delighted to announce their exclusive collaboration to provide news content for the new HiFi forum, The HiFi Asylum.
HIFI FORUMS
For many years the publishers of HiFi PiG have considered HiFi forums to be toxic online environments where those with the loudest (and often most aggressive) voices and personalities are allowed to dominate and control the content and narrative, resulting in some users feeling bullied and unable to make useful contributions for fear of being shouted down.
HIFI PIG
When Stuart Smith, the owner of Big Pig Media (the parent company of HiFi PiG) discovered The HiFi Asylum stand at High End Munich earlier this year, he was immediately impressed by the concept, and discussions into a mutually beneficial association began.
THE HIFI ASYLUM
The HiFi Asylum promises to be different from other forums, not least because it operates a paid-for membership policy and has zero tolerance for behaviour that is likely to result in its members feeling intimidated or unable to express their own opinions. It is this inclusive aspect of The HiFi Asylum that impressed Stu and Lin of HiFi PiG the most and why they felt they had found a HiFi forum they could finally get behind and support.
HIFI PIG X THE HIFI ASYLUM
Based in Norway but with English being the predominant language and with English-specific discussion rooms, The HiFi Asylum is headed up by Øystein Hasnes who had the following to say about the partnership: “I have known Stu and Lin of HiFi PiG since 2018 and their content and attitude about the industry have always resonated with me. I finally met Stu in person at High End Munich earlier this year and we connected immediately as we share similar attitudes towards the HiFi industry. I am very happy to partner with true music lovers and audiophiles that work for the betterment of home-audio around the world through their publications”.
