HIFIMAN has announced the launch of the HIFIMAN ISVARNA, its latest innovation and first hybrid headphone.

Designed for audiophiles seeking deep bass and an expansive soundstage, the HIFIMAN ISVARNA combines planar and dynamic driver technologies.

HIFIMAN ISVARNA UNIQUE DRIVER DESIGN

At the heart of the HIFIMAN ISVARNA is a hybrid configuration featuring a miniature dynamic subwoofer driver paired with planar magnetic drivers. The dynamic subwoofer focuses on boosting low frequencies, while the planar drivers maintain clarity in the mid and upper ranges. A carefully designed crossover circuit ensures smooth integration, setting the crossover point between 200-300Hz for a balanced sonic performance.

STEALTH MAGNETS AND NANOMETRE THICKNESS DIAPHRAGM

The HIFIMAN ISVARNA incorporates the brand’s patented Stealth Magnet technology, designed to reduce air turbulence and diffraction. This innovation allows sound waves to pass between the magnets with minimal disruption, preserving the headphone’s clarity and accuracy. In addition, the ISVARNA utilises HIFIMAN’s ultra-thin Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm. This lightweight material has been designed to enhance dynamic range, reduce distortion, and ensure fast transient response.

The ISVARNA features an ergonomic headband crafted from premium metal materials. Precision-cut using CNC technology and hand-polished, the headband offers durability and comfort, ensuring a snug yet lightweight fit for long listening sessions.
