NEW INNUOS OPERATING SYSTEM 2.3 WITH QOBUZ DOWNLOAD SUPPORT, MQA CORE DECODER AND MORE
Innuos has released a new version of their music server/streamer operating system, innuOS 2.3.
Visitors to the upcoming Bristol HiFi Show and will be able to experience the improvements of the InnuOS Version 2.3 system themselves.
QOBUZ, TIDAL, MQA
The new version of the OS for Innuos digital music sources adds many new features to improve usage with Qobuz and TIDAL, it also enables a free MQA Core Decoder on Innuos music server/streamers and network music players.
INNUOS VERSION 2.3
InnuOS Version 2.3 includes the following improvements:
Innuos music server/streamer owners can now download purchased music from Qobuz directly to their server from within the Sense app, providing a more streamlined integration with Qobuz without ever leaving the Sense app.
There is now an option to opt out of synchronizing Qobuz and Tidal with a music library, in addition to the option to do the same for purchased songs if desired. This is helpful for anyone using HiFi streaming services with Innuos sources and allows further control should users wish to keep their TIDAL/Qobuz favorites separate.
With this update, Innuos music servers and network music players are now MQA certified – this means they can now stream and play MQA files up to 24bit/96 kHz for non-MQA DACs and up to 24bit/384 kHz for MQA Renderer/Decoder DACs. This feature adds to the existing capability of Innuos music servers and network music players to passthrough MQA files to MQA Full Decoder DACs.
In addition, several other improvements have been made that include a new Save Settings per DAC feature that saves time over having to change settings every time a different DAC is selected.
INNUOS SENSE APP
Version 2.3 of the innuOS Operating System can be downloaded using the Innuos Sense app, which is available from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon Appstore. The Innuos Sense app is used to browse, play and manage all your music, whether stored locally or streaming.
