ISE 2025 REPORT FROM BARCELONA

HiFi PiG’s Lin and Stu head to Barcelona for the ISE 2025 show and snoofle out some HiFi, CI and Home Cinema gear.

ISE is a mammoth event. Wandering the giant halls and seeing the latest tech from industries related to AV and systems integration is an incredible sensory experience. There is everything from E sports to huge screens to pro audio to drones and, of course, what we are interested in: audio, AV, and HiFi. In all, there were 1,605 exhibitors (the highest number ever at ISE) and the largest show floor space yet at 92,000 sqm.

HiFi AND AV

Part of Hall 2 (of 8 cavernous halls) is dedicated to residential products, which covers most of the products that we were interested in seeing, with plenty of names that HiFi fans will recognise like Monitor Audio, Focal and Naim, Waterfall, Dali, Meridien Steinway Lyngdorf and more. Mostly the brands exhibited their custom install and home cinema products but PMC took a more pro audio approach with their stand being in Hall 4 this year with their studio gear and Ci range.

ISE 2025 ATTENDANCE

ISE 2025 welcomed 85,351 unique verified visitors from 168 countries, marking a 15.5% increase from the previous year. The show opened strongly on Tuesday with 49,981 attendees, reflecting a 16.1% rise compared to the first day of ISE 2024. Momentum continued on Wednesday, reaching 59,038 visitors – an impressive 14.4% growth from the previous year. Thursday set a new milestone in the event’s history, attracting 49,716 attendees, solidifying ISE 2025 as the most vibrant and well-attended edition to date. The total number of registrations reached 110,540 with 185,700 visits across the four days.

BARCELONA

The city of Barcelona, the region of Catalonia, and the country of Spain have shown immense support for ISE, recognising its importance and commitment to the city. Numerous dignitaries and officials visited the show, and various organisations supported the event, highlighting its significance. Evening events hosted by exhibitors throughout the city of Barcelona added a vibrant social dimension to the show, fostering connections and collaborations in a relaxed setting. The wide variety of stunning events throughout the week showcased the city’s dedication to making ISE 2025 a memorable experience for all attendees.

Over the weekend we also visited some of the Llum BCN 25 exhibits, staged in the city, with spectacular light and Ai-driven displays.

ISE 2026

ISE 2026 takes place from the 3^rd to 6^th of February 2026, at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via.
