JBL SYNTHESIS AND ARCAM ROON READY CERTIFICATION
Harman family brands, JBL Synthesis and Arcam, announce Roon Ready certification for a selection of their AV products.
JBL SYNTHESIS
JBL Synthesis has announced Roon Ready and Roon Tested status for its SDP-55 AV processor and the SDR-35 Class G AV receiver. Roon Ready exclusively applies to network devices that have Roon’s streaming technology built in and means that these devices discover and connect to Roon without any configuration.
Both models feature 16-channels of native processing, Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X 3D, Auro 3D, IMAX Enhanced, Dirac Live, Logic16, Network Streaming, Dante, with the SDR-35 adding 7 x 100w of Class G amplification. The addition of Roon Ready status opens up the world of Roon to JBL SDP-55 and SDR-35 customers, including multi-room flexibility as well as the system’s integrated music library. To get the best from Roon, users of the JBL SDP-55 and SDR-35 should ensure that their machines are running software v1.46.
ARCAM
Five further ARCAM models have received Roon Ready certification from Roon Labs. These are the AVR10, AVR20, and AVR30 AV receivers; the AV40 AV processor; and SA30 class G intelligent amplifier.
To ensure that models are running the latest Roon certified software, existing AVR 10/20/30 and AV40 users should run ARCAM Software v1.46, while SA30 users should check for ARCAM Software V867.
