KALISTA LAUNCHES A NEW REFERENCE MANTAX DAC

Following the launch of DreamPlay X and XC, Metronome’s Kalista has unveiled the DAC designed to fit with the SACD Transport DreamPlay X.

The Kalista Mantax DAC continues the luxurious and distinctive design of French brand Kalista, from Metronome.

KALISTA MANTAX DAC

DreamPlay X owners have been requesting a D/A Converter capable of being at the level of their SACD/CD Transport, so Jean Marie and the team designed the Kalista Mantax DAC.

The communication between DreamPlay X and Mantax is insured by Kalista proprietary I²S signal for a perfect native sound reproduction. The Digital to Analogue conversion is performed by two separate lines of AKM and ESS processors, giving wide possibilities in sound restitution profiles.Tube and solid-state analogue outputs are in parallel.

The two finishes of Mantax will ship from December 1^st, Diamond (silver) and Black Pearl (black). And like all Kalista devices, customization is possible on request.
