KEF has launched its R700 loudspeaker in a new ‘Black Edition’, a deep and lustrous new finish that uses new black components to adorn the gloss black finish of the cabinet.

KEF say: “The result is a speaker whose visual presence manages to express gravitas alongside sleek sophistication, and a powerful minimalism that will look effortlessly contemporary in any home”.

This Black Edition loudspeaker combines the finish with a new all-black version of KEF’s Uni-Q driver array. It also features a unique Black Edition trim ring, black Chrome plated terminals and matte black feet. Designed to extend the legacy of one of KEF’s biggest selling ranges, the new R700 Black Edition contains all the acoustic and engineering innovations found in the standard-finish R700. In addition, each pair of R700 Black Edition speakers comes with a diamond-cut deco plaque featuring its unique, laser-etched unique number on the back of the speaker.

The new KEF R700 Black Edition is available to buy this month.

Price: £2,200 per pair
