On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November KJ West One’s Central London showroom will host a weekend of special presentations, seminars and demonstrations focusing on all things analogue.
The event is set over two days with a limited space presentation on Friday evening and an open day on Saturday.
Friday 29th November
The Friday session will see a fascinating talk from legendary audio engineer Mike Valentine who will speak about the techniques and processes involved in his audiophile recordings. He will be playing music on an audiophile level all-analogue setup featuring the Brinkmann Audio Taurus.
Following this, there will be a listening session of unique and interesting vinyl.
Saturday 30th November
Saturday is an open event with individual presentations which are ticketed to ensure there is adequate space.
Presentations on Saturday are as follows –
12pm – Matthias Luck, co-owner of Brinkmann Audio, will be presenting the new Taurus Direct Drive turntable. This design is an advancement over the Bardo / Oasis. The Brinkmann Edison II will also be on demonstration.
2pm – Nic Poulson, principal designer at Trilogy Audio, presents an advanced prototype of the new 975 phono stage.
3pm – Second chance to see Matthias Luck present the Taurus. He will also premiere a brand new recording from Brinkmann Audio.
4pm – Mike Valentine returns for another presentation to discuss recording and mastering techniques and the benefits of analogue, for those who can’t make the Friday evening.
In addition to the presentations, there will be a lot going on around the showroom, so it is encouraged that you to come in to have a look and enjoy this special event.
