Henley Audio have announced a new active soundbar range from Klipsch, focused on delivering premium audio from TVs while maintaining a small footprint.

Klipsch, the US-based audio manufacturer, drew direct inspiration from the company’s Reference speaker line for the soundbars.

Horn Loaded Tweeters

The Klipsch BAR 48 (£565.00 SRP) and BAR 40 (£350.00 SRP) soundbars each feature horn-loaded tweeters, as well as the latest audio technologies, including wireless subwoofers. Just like the Klipsch Reference passive speaker line, the BAR 40 and BAR 48 are both made from wood enclosures and feature acoustically neutral woven grilles and exposed horns.

Klipsch BAR 48

The Klipsch BAR 48 is a high performance 3.1 channel soundbar system. Featuring a dedicated centre channel speaker for enhanced clarity, and a wireless 8” subwoofer for powerful, deep bass. There’s also built-in surround sound processing technologies such as Dolby® Digital audio technology, Dolby® Digital Plus technology, DTS® technology and DTS®-HD technology to make sure you get exactly the sound you expect. Designed to fit discretely below the TV screen, the slim profile BAR 48 soundbar measures 48” in length and just 2.8” tall and can be wall-mounted or placed on a table. For added convenience, the BAR 48 can also be combined with the optional SURROUND 3 (£265.00  SRP) speakers.

Klipsch BAR 40

The Klipsch BAR 40 is a 2.1 soundbar with a wireless 6.5” subwoofer, designed as an easy to set-up and use upgrade to the underwhelming sound associated with so many modern TVs. The BAR 40 features Klipsch acoustics, a built-in Dolby® Audio decoder and enhanced virtual surround sound modes for a cinematic experience. It measures just 40” in length and 2.8” high.

The Klipsch BAR 48 and BAR 40 feature a number of inputs, and also work with Bluetooth® wireless technology.
