KLIPSCH UNVEILS NEXT-GEN KLIPSCHORN AK7 & LA SCALA AL6 WITH MODERN UPGRADES

Klipsch has introduced the latest iterations of its iconic Klipschorn and La Scala speakers.
The Klipsch Klipschorn AK7 and Klipsch La Scala AL6 feature significant engineering enhancements, a refined aesthetic, and the option to integrate with Klipsch’s Heritage Active Crossover for the first time.
NEXT GENERATION KLIPSCH KLIPSCHORN AK7 AND KLIPSCH LA SCALA AL6
Both models retain their classic three-way, horn-loaded configurations, delivering high efficiency with low distortion. Each driver is engineered to optimise sound clarity, ensuring lifelike performance across the frequency spectrum, Klipsch tells us.

NEW TRACTRIX MIDRANGE HORNS AND UPGRADED COMPRESSION DRIVERS
The Klipschorn AK7 and La Scala AL6 now include modified Tractrix midrange horns, improving time alignment by shortening the throat length. The new KT-1133-HP midrange compression driver, featuring a larger 3″ design, enhances efficiency and sound pressure handling, reducing distortion while increasing dynamic capability.
WIDE-DISPERSION PHASE PLUG FOR IMPROVED HIGH FREQUENCIES
Klipsch has integrated a K-771 compression driver with a patented extended phase plug, which enhances high-frequency clarity and extends the dispersion pattern. This design improvement ensures a more immersive soundstage with better coverage.
KLIPSCH LA SCALA AL6 INTRODUCES A VENTED DESIGN FOR DEEPER BASS
For the first time, the La Scala AL6 incorporates a vented bass enclosure, allowing for lower frequency extension and improved efficiency. The 12″ K-281 woofer with a folded horn design delivers richer and more powerful bass, enhancing its musical depth without compromising clarity.
HERITAGE ACTIVE CROSSOVER OPTION FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
Klipsch has designed a Heritage Active Crossover for the new models, drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Klipsch Jubilee. This advanced crossover improves phase alignment, frequency response, and amplification matching, allowing users to fine-tune their systems for optimal performance.

UPGRADED INPUT/OUTPUT PANEL FOR FLEXIBILITY
The redesigned I/O panel on both the Klipschorn AK7 and La Scala AL6 now includes passive and active inputs, along with a passive output. The updated design allows for seamless switching between passive and active configurations, providing greater versatility for audiophiles.

INTRODUCING THE NEW KLIPSCH AMERICAN AUBURN FINISH
Klipsch has introduced a fresh finish option, American Auburn, which replaces Natural Cherry in the Heritage Series. This deep, warm tone sits between Black Ash and American Walnut, offering a refined look. The Klipschorn AK7 and La Scala AL6 also maintain Klipsch’s book-matched veneer craftsmanship, ensuring a consistent and high-end aesthetic.
HAND-ASSEMBLED IN HOPE, ARKANSAS
True to Klipsch’s heritage, these speakers continue to be designed and hand-assembled in Hope, Arkansas. The Klipschorn AK7 remains the longest continuously produced loudspeaker in the world, while the La Scala AL6 preserves its legacy as a high-efficiency design originally created for public address systems.
