KONDO AUDIO NOTE IO-XP MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE
High-end Japanese HiFi brand Kondo Audio Note has released its sixth moving coil cartridge, the Kondo Audio Note IO-XP Cartridge.
The Kondo Audio Note IO-XP cartridge has been developed from the knowledge and techniques that the brand has accumulated since its first IO cartridge in 1979.

Kondo continues to use an alnico magnet for IO-XP as they say that the low magnetic resistance provides many advantages in terms of sound quality. Maximum magnetic capacity is obtained with the assembly style and the magnetizing method.
They say that more accurate tracing is also achieved through setting the damping properly. In addition, by devising the body shape and internal structure to control the main body resonance, a “natural and grand sound field” is reproduced.
The pure silver wire and parts used by Kondo are completely proprietary. This silver was selected by Kondo from a European silver mine, it is annealed by the company and rests for several years before use.
