HiFi PiG CATCHES UP WITH NWAS ORGANISER KRIS
With only a matter of days to go before the North West Audio Show at the Cranage DeVere Estate in Cheshire, HiFi PiG caught up with the show’s organiser, Kris Sawicki, to find out what visitors to the tenth edition of the show can expect over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of June.
“3774 free tickets have been claimed for the show this weekend and so we are expecting it to be a lively event, but you can still claim your free tickets by following this link. With regards to exhibitors we have more than 80 coming to the event and they will be bringing over 200 brands for the show. We have tried to ensure that the North West Audio Show is very inclusive so you will find exhibitors showing off modestly priced equipment as well as pricier stuff. Speaking of exhibitors, one of the things we encourage is that if visitors to the show have any questions or a particular piece of music they would like to hear then they should ask the person running the room at a time in-between songs so as not to disturb other listeners.
“ We have ensured that the show is well signposted and there is a free show guide available on the door, but we also have staff positioned around the show who will be more than happy to help – again, just ask.
“This year as a totally new concept we are also hosting a record fair at North West Audio Show that is held in conjunction with Britannia Record Fairs. We expect this to be very popular with visitors who can dig those crates for the record they have been searching for, or perhaps to try something they have never heard before.
“Music is obviously a big part of everyone’s life that is coming to the show and at 13:00 in the Tempus Bar at Crane we have some great artists playing to entertain visitors to the show.
“Speaking of the bar, there will be lunch available in the bar and it’s always a great place to meet up with friends or to strike up a conversation with someone you don’t know – it’s that kind of show where everyone seems to get on with each other and are there to have a great time.”
HiFi PiG will, of course, be at the show with several people covering it and we are giving out a whole load of Hifi PiG slipmats free to the first couple of hundred (or thereabouts) people each day.
See you there!
