2019 sees the twenty fifth anniversary of Matthias Roth’s company, MRV Audio, distributing Norwegian brand Electrocompaniet to the German and Austrian markets.

To mark the occasion, a special version of the Electrocompaniet  turntable, ECG-1, has been released in a limited edition of twenty five pieces.

The special edition ECG-1 has a new 3-phase 24-volt synchronous motor with a new drive pully and an oversized power supply. It includes a Jelco SA -750-EB tonearm and  a special Silenzio Base from HMS. Its chassis consists of a sandwich construction made of acrylic and aluminium and the platter is also made of acrylic, to optimally couple to vinyl.

The Electrocompaniet ECG-1 “25 Years MRV” costs 4,220€.
