NEW LUMIN T3X FEATURES A TOROIDAL LINEAR POWER SUPPLY AND OPTICAL FIBRE NETWORKING

Packing more than ever into the T-series chassis, the LUMIN T3X includes many upgrades over the previous Lumin T3 model.

LUMIN T3X takes the LUMIN T platform and adds even more technology from their flagship players, now featuring a toroidal linear power supply and optical fibre networking plus other upgrades.

LUMIN T3X NETWORK PLAYER

The LUMIN T3X builds on the design of its predecessor, the T3, offering an upgraded design and enhanced features. Central to its performance is the inclusion of a dual ES9028Pro SABRE DAC operating in dual-mono mode, which is paired with a new, integrated toroidal linear power supply. This ensures ultra-low noise and high dynamic range, providing superior audio quality. The T3X also features a new internal ultra-low-noise power supply and a large toroidal transformer, designed to reduce interference and improve performance.

OPTICAL FIBRE

One of the standout features of the T3X is its dual-network interface, which includes support for both traditional RJ45 Ethernet and a Fibre Network connection. The optical fibre connection provides complete isolation from digital network noise, ensuring a cleaner audio signal. The system also includes a built-in network switch, allowing for more flexible setup options, such as connecting one port to a router and the other to a LUMIN L1/L2 or NAS. This combination of networking features offers enhanced streaming performance and supports the latest digital audio formats, including DSD256 and PCM384, with upsampling and downsampling capabilities.

STREAMING SERVICES

The T3X offers a wide range of streaming service support, including Roon, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, TuneIn, AirPlay, and more. It’s designed to work seamlessly with these platforms, providing access to millions of songs in high resolution.

LEEDH PROCESSING VOLUME CONTROL

The Leedh Processing Volume control, a unique algorithm designed to eliminate rounding errors in digital volume adjustments, is included on all LUMIN players, improving overall sound accuracy.

HIGH END LOOKS

LUMIN has also ensured that the T3X supports the latest in digital audio technology, including MQA, and offers a precision analogue output stage with dual-mono circuitry. The T3X is housed in a CNC-milled chassis, providing superior structural rigidity and shielding compared to earlier models, and maintaining the high-end aesthetic of the LUMIN X1 series.
