As from October 21st an agreement has been made to sell 83 % of the shares in Dynaudio to GoerTek Inc., an international electronic corporation domiciled in Weifang and listed in the stock exchange in China. The majority of shares in Dynaudio will be now be transferred to one of the leading companies in the electro-acoustic industry worldwide.
The Managing Director considers the transaction as being a fantastic opportunity to be able to further develop the company under a professional industrial ownership.
The founder and previous majority shareholder, Mr. Wilfried Ehrenholz will continue as minority shareholder and Vice chairman of the Board of Directors. The Managing Director, Mr. Lars Prisak will continue in his role as CEO, and the former Chairman of the Board, Mr. Johannes Bogh will continue on the board. They will both hold small share positions.
The new Chairman of the Board and founder of GoerTek, Mr. Bryan Liang commented on the take-over:
“We see excellent possibilities to participate in the further development of the unique international brand image of Dynaudio together with our own extensive technological know-how”.
The production facilities and the product development will continue in the Skanderborg area in Denmark and we will continue to make high-end products made in Denmark.
