Henley Audio has announced the first new products from Musical Fidelity, since the brand changed ownership and received new investment earlier in 2018. The M2 range features an integrated amplifier and a CD player. 

The M2si integrated amplifier takes the company’s trickledown technology from the Titan flagship model, delivering 76W per-channel into 8Ω (137W into 4Ω), the M2si features a Class A pre-amp stage with its own independent power supply, coupled with a pair of discrete power amps. It has six Line inputs. By leaving DAC, CD, streaming and phono tasks to external devices the amplifier is able to function as a pure analogue hub.. For Home Cinema installations, the AUX1 input can also be manually switched to a Home Theatre (HT) through-put.

The M2sCD features both a mains choke filter and a high-tech digital stream noise filter. The internal DAC design draws from its high-end siblings in the Musical Fidelity range, using technology like 24bit Delta-Sigma conversion with 8x oversampling.

The new M2si integrated amplifier and matching M2sCD CD player are housed in heavy metal enclosures and feature aluminium front panels, finished in silver or black,, and come with a system remote. They will have an SRP £799.00 each) and will be available across the UK from November 2018.
