The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 multi-channel class A/B power amplifier is the first of three models due to be released by the brand and sits in the middle of their planned offering as a seven-channel variant.

The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 is designed to connect to a multi-channel pre-amplifier or AV processor, either by its XLR or RCA inputs.

The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 is a 7 x 250W (4Ω) class A/B power amplifier for home cinema applications. The audio design follows the same principles as other M6 stereo products. The amp has a modular layout internally, powered by a super-silent audiophile power transformer. The fanless chassis design with heatsinks is made for silent operation in a rack.

The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 has balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) input options on each channel. There is an RCA “through” output per channel for bi-amplifying applications with gold-plated isolated speaker output terminals per channel. The amp also has trigger in-/outputs for easy operation.

EASY OPERATION

The large, metal chassis for the M6x 250.7 is more than just an elegant housing for the electronics. It’s also cleverly designed to be both intuitive in set-up and quiet in operation. All the connections are clearly marked for easy integration into a system, and the front panel gives you a clear understanding of what is going on with the amplifier.
