Naim announced today, that following an extensive beta test, it is releasing Firmware updates on October 6th enabling TIDAL lossless streaming together with a host of other new features and improvements.
Streamer Firmware Version 4.3 will enable native support for TIDAL on Naim’s all-in-one players, network players and streaming preamplifiers.
Mu-so Firmware Version 1.3 will enable native support for TIDAL on Mu-so wireless music systems alongside support for gapless playback, Seek2Time via the Naim app, a new alarm clock feature and multiroom master capability.
A necessary update to the Naim App for iOS and Android will be released to coincide with these new firmware updates.
A free 90-day TIDAL trial will allow all Naim owners to experience the convenience and quality of lossless streaming.
Using the Naim App for iOS and Android devices, the user will now be able to select TIDAL as an input from the home screen. This will then give full access to the TIDAL library of millions of songs in lossless CD quality.

Owners of early UnitiQute, Naim Uniti or NDX units where the owners has not chosen to upgrade to the 24/192 streaming board will need to upgrade to be able to take advantage of TIDAL streaming.
