NEAT MAJISTRA LOUDSPEAKER ANNOUNCED
British loudspeaker brand Neat Acoustics has announced the arrival of a new addition to the Neat family, the standmount Neat Majistra.
The Neat Majistra is the fourth model in their STRATA range to sit alongside the Ministra, Ekstra and Orkestra.
ISOBARIC BASS
This new model follows the format of the standmount Neat Ministra model, but in larger form using the drive unit line-up from the top-of-the-range Neat Orkestra.
All the fundamental design features of the Neat STRATA range are present: isobaric bass configuration, true-ribbon tweeter and separate sub-baffle for the front drivers.
HAND BUILT CROSSOVER
In common with all Neat loudspeakers, the Majistra’s crossover is hand-built using point-to-point wiring with some of the best components available.
Bob Surgeoner of Neat Acoustics says that the164mm bass-mid drivers in this arrangement produce “a truly phenomenal bass extension and control, usually only found in larger floorstanding designs”.
NEAT MAJISTRA PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Shipping from mid-September, the UK retail price is £3495.00 inc vat.
HiFi Pig Says: We have been consistently impressed with this British brand’s ability to make a huge sound come out of small speakers, very much looking forward to hearing the new addition to the Neat familly.
