NEW UK BRAND CONNECTED-FIDELITY LAUNCHED BY A WELL-KNOWN NAME IN THE UK HIFI INDUSTRY

There’s a new UK HiFi manufacturing company called connected-fidelity that has just launched, with a familiar name behind the brand.

Michael Osborn is a British designer, engineer, manufacturer, and lifelong music lover who has been working in the HiFi industry for over 30 years.

He initially designed and launched the Astin Trew brand audio electronics ranges, then moved into audio products distribution introducing brands such as Astell & Kern, and now Hana cartridges, to the UK during his career in the UK audio industry.

Michael has continued to design and develop products for his own use and then ended up selling these products to fellow audiophiles in an ad-hoc way.  ‘Now was the time to give these products greater availability’ says Michael. He has also helped fellow audiophiles develop products they wanted to use and will also be launching some of these through connected-fidelity.

The brand will focus on products including audiophile fuses, RF filters, cables and more fundamental electronics such as balanced power supplies.

Michael told us further: “connected-fidelity products all do one thing, they make the experience of listening to recorded or streamed music in the home more enjoyable by bringing you closer to the actual musical experience.  This might seem like a simple and obvious statement, but the reality is not so easy to achieve. All the products have of course taken many long hours of development to get right, sound-wise, looks-wise and price-wise3.  Michael will be manufacturing all connected-fidelity products in the UK.
