Wire On Wire and 3 Square Audio were sharing a room and a very interesting room it was too. 3 Square had their Translator floorstanders playing when we went in the room but also had on display a pair of their Liberator standmounts. Supports and stands were all 3 Square Audio’s own distinctive design too.

Chris from Wire On Wire launched a new speaker cable at the show called Experience 660 using their trademarked REDpurl geometry, much in the same way as their 680 interconnects use it. Basically you are able to change the geometry to change the cable’s characteristics to suit you and your system. I have to say that I was somewhat sceptical but Chris Bell’s was a bit of an ear opener with clear differences being apparent with different geometries being used.

All together a super system at a relatively budget price!
