Marc at Origin Live had a top flight vinyl front end running through Graham Slee step up and phonostage and Sugden power amplifier into a very modest pair of loudspeakers. The aim of this demonstration is to show that the thing that really matters in a system is the turntable set up and it did work very well indeed. The Sovereign turntable with 12″ tonearm worked really well and I’m sure the dem’ will have many people reassessing their priorities with system hierarchy.
