Pearl Acoustics were first noticed at this year’s Munich show and so it was great to have them along to the North West Audio Show where we could give them a proper listen. The cabinets of their Sibelius SG are made of solid oak and use a modified Marc Audio driver in a quarter wave V horn configuration. I’ve owned and heard lots of single driver loudspeakers but these are certainly up there with some f the very best I’ve heard. Quoted figures have them going down to 28Hz which is pretty amazing from a 4″ driver.
