North West Audio Show At Cranage Hall 2017
Soundkaos Audio from Switzerland were showing off their 3-way open baffle LIBéRATION loudspeaker in a walnut/bronze mesh finish. The speakers each have two 8” full range drivers for mid/bass and mid/high, a RAAL dipole 14 cm ribbon super tweeter and an 18” woofer.
As well as the loudspeakers Soundkaos also featured Bakoon International Corp. AMP-51R amplifier, which is their flagship, no compromise 100 W SATRI based solid state amplifier and brand new DAC-21, a battery driven digital to analogue converter which includes the SATRI-link current signal transfer protocol. Both these units were making their UK debut at the North West Audio Show. It’s no secret that Hifi Pig loves OB speakers and Ribbon tweeters and this system certainly didn’t disappoint.
