Scott at Computer Audio Design knows a thing or two about getting the best out of your zeros and ones and I’ve been following his advice on computer set up for audio for years.

At this year’s North West Audio Show he and Isabel (Happy Birthday) were demonstrating their 1543 MK II DAC, CAD AUDIO TRANSPORT and their innovative Ground Control boxes, including a new multi output version. If you haven’t heard a demonstration of the Ground Control boxes you really should. One couple I bumped into were gently guided to the dem’ by myself were somewhat apprehensive but came out all smiles.

The amp for the weekend was a new Lavardin X series from France whilst the speakers were from Neat featuring a pair of upward firing supertweeters.

Rack is the Quadraspire X Reference which was being used in a number of rooms at this year’s show.
