ONDACUSTICA CARLA REFERENCE LOUDSPEAKER AT HIGH END MUNICH
Ondacustica of Verona, Italy will be showing the Carla Reference Loudspeaker at High End Munich 2022.
The Italian brand says that in order to achieve the most natural possible sound, the Carla Reference uses a novel approach, “covering the entire frequency spectrum, based on a controlled radiation pattern that matches typical reflective living spaces and their acoustic parameters”.

OMNIDIRECTIONALLITY
The Ondacustica Carla Reference Loudspeaker emits low frequencies omnidirectionally. Medium frequencies are also radiated omnidirectionally, as the midrange driver is positioned vertically upwards. The radiating surfaces of the midrange driver in the housing and the tweeter in the top panel are positioned at right angles to each other. This makes the choice of position in the listening room less critical for the Carla Reference.

ONDACUSTICA CARLA REFERENCE DRIVERS
The full complement of drivers in the Ondacustica Carla Reference Loudspeaker are a custom Ondacustica AMT panel driver, a custom-made Ondacustica 5” panel tweeter, a custom-made Ondacustica 8″ midrange driver and a custom-made Ondacustica 10″ woofer. The crossover is an integrated passive crossover with premium components; Bi-amping is supported.
CABINET
The Ondacustica Carla Reference Loudspeaker has a handcrafted solid, 2 cm thick, Sorrento walnut cabinet with matt black aluminium elements. The standard finishes are a high-quality shellac finish with optional finishes in beeswax, real piano lacquer or black and white lacquer with additional finishes on request.
